P.S. Can't believe how stupid are some supposed journalist , that leak is totally fake, total points is way less than it should be since voters are 180 and every one of them give 16 points (6-4-3-2-1 for the top 5) so almost 2900 points in total.

Getting number 6 bodes well for him in his battle with Ronaldo.

This makes it 6 - 5 and right now Messi looks like he's going to be favourite for a 7.

Imagine thinking someone else deserves to win Ballon d'Or after watching Messi drag this sorry as manager and team(not players) to wins, day in day out. You can maybe understand it from fans of other teams who only watch 2 or 3 matches per year but selling him short as a Barca fan is just sad.

Also, imagine blaming Messi on dropping too deep when in the first half last night he barely touched the ball while we had major, major issues getting out of our own half until Messi dropped back to help with the transition. This is solely on Valverde being a fraud and Lucho bypassing the mdifield altogether in his time here.

Most people don’t watch Messi week in week out either. Probably watched the CL defeat to Liverpool and that’s about it. Jokes on them.

Him dropping deep helped us a lot. What is missing with this tactic is faster and better attacking full backs. Sergi is good, but not fast enough. Firpo is not on Alba's level and it doesn't feel like he will reach that level.

We need to understand that it is harder for Messi to perform at his best when the team misses out on possession for so long.

One more thing. We have three midfielders. They should be able to do what he does to some extent but until now that is not the case.
We are still a one man team most of the time.
