Neymar Jr.

DonAK

President of FC Barcelona
Rather take our shot at signing Mbappé even if Madrid seem to be the front runners. Stranger things have happened. Neymar wanted to play for Real Madrid and almost signed for them too.

"President, sign Neymar", three players of Benjamin D, Barcelona's team of youngsters born in 2011, made this appeal to President Josep Maria Bartomeu during yesterday's football ceremony. Bartomeu responded with a smile.[Sport]

He is coming... the children and the seniors all want him

Neymar signing for Barça wouldn't be a surprise as the player himself confirmed he wanted to join this club last summer.

However, a young player asking for Neymar and Bartomeu smiling have nothing to do with the issue. I remember Bartomeu smiling when asked about de Ligt destination and saying he knows very well since a long time where he'd go. At the end, the dutch players signed for Juventus.
In football (and in almost any sector in this world), money talks. Barça should prepare the ginormous bag of money if they want a chance to sign the brazilian.

To be honest, the best way for Neymar to silence doubters would be to win the CL with PSG by outshining Mbappe along the way. That would be a statement and a very important career point for him. It's the best thing he could do. A move back to Barcelona is terrible for him, for PSG and for Barcelona as well. Best would've been not to leave at all and become a Barcelona legend, but once he made the step he has to follow through and show that he is the leader PSG think he is.

You need to be serious about football to win CL.

Neyclown hasn't been serious about football since 2015.

Except for the agenda pushed by the media or the non watchers, Mbappé has not once outshined Neymar under PSG shirt. The injuries are Neymar biggest problem.

Anyway, without him, Tuchel has again showed he has not even one idea to make his team play.
PSG was so bad once again today. I think we are seeing the worst PSG in years. Nothing in attack bar the usual individual plays by world class players, average in midfield and terribly weak in defence.

Wow. It is really a great performance to have us clenching our ass against any team till the last second.

Deligt Barto knew he would go to Juve early on.

The best way would have been to never left at all. All that wasted time and money and injuries that happen to both Neymar and Barcelona. terrible decision. But he needs to come back then show everyone by winning with Barcelona again because like or not, the team is struggling and Ney is seen as the "savior" and "heir"

He's going to be 29 this season. Heir to what?

To me, he was the 4th most talented attacking player I've seen after Messi, R9, and R10. But he squandered 26-29 away.

Neymar wasn't treated the best.

We should have done more to convince him to stay.

Now we wasted 400m and counting just trying to replace him lmao.

Higher wages, more bonuses, making him feel important would have been enough to make him stay

Our players even pleaded him to stay here. He wanted to be the star man and didn't want to be one of the stars. That is on him, don't try to make it our fault. There is plenty of blame to be put on our board but this one is not on them.
