I dont get the pessimism from either side. Anything can happen. Be a little optimistic. ( even if I hope for the exact opposite of course).

Madrid are a momentum team, especially this side. They built it up after Clasico against poorer sides based on clean sheets and good performances. Then Eibar happened and slow climb back up to optimum form. Incidentally, almost every time squandered by a defensive error from Marcelo. It's just sad because they accumulated to so many points lost along the way. Last 9 games with Marcelo as a starter - 1W 2D 6L...

There's little chance for anything positive from him if any team can come in and exploit him in a bad moment.

"....you still have to go to San Mames, Villamarin, Pizjuan, Bernabeu and Balaidos. And Espanyol arriving at Camp Nou....."

mid day game, real madrid will struggle.

Good shout buddy.

We are currently playing like shit and as long as 1-0 merchants keep winning 1-0 with goals like this:

The league is not over. But we are back in the driving seat now.

So?

I am not from Barcelona, just like you are not from Shitdrid, the city that pisses me off, every aspect of it.
I've got to say I found Madrid very beautiful. Lots of green areas, wide streets, seemed a nice place to live. :p

I would choose some Atletico oriented neighbourhood.

Quality take... You weren't so eager in the first half today were you?

You clearly have a tougher schedule. We were reliant on pushing it through momentum until Clasicos where we were expected to lose it. Today was thrown away unexpectedly in the 2nd half particularly. Ought to have closed the game earlier, but didn't happen.

Doesn't change anything in the end. Still lots of points to play for, but singular errors and reliance on Vinicius kills us.

Wouldn`t it be annoying with a bus blocking the path around every corner?

Looks like real suffered from the champions league hangover that happens to teams alot of the time. We might get one against sevilla but they'll probably have a europa one and will have less rest as well

First half of the Madrid game? I didn't watch the game.... rarely do unless it's the Madrid Derby or similar.

Of course there's lots of games left with tough fixtures for ALL teams. That's La Liga. Now you beating Atleti is even sweeter

I was kidding. I too found Madrid quite nice, especially the Centro area. What I like it over Barcelona is the exactly the extensiveness of green areas like the Botanic Garden and the big park/green area near the Prado Museum.

Perhaps I came with too much of a negative preconception about Madrid :p, everything else I found it pretty meh. The Imperial Palace was kind of meh for example, compared to some of the French and German and Austrian palaces.
