11 - Ousmane Dembélé - V1

Deserves more minutes but I am very disappointed in the way he's dealt with the situation. There are transgressions that I'll be ok with because he's clearly just frustrated and stunted under Valverde but if we get a new coach next year and he's still acting like this I'll lose all hope for his future.

Yeah he maybe bad for real but it'll never be 100% certain until we have Retardo in charge. Dembele might just be frustrated with an idiot like him at the helm.

everything about this transfer was a huge fuck up in hindsight..

we lose world class Neymar, part of MSN and we have 200mil to replace him with;

going for an already world class player to replace Neymar was the logical thing to do but not only for the teams sake but the boards, especially with EV in charge, Messi and Suarez getting older and a desperation to win more CLs, experience matters. instead, we blew a huge chunk of the transfer on a raw, 21 year old with a bad attitude who needs time.. time which he won't get at a huge club like Barca. Suarez is visibly frustrated with Dembeles mistakes and im visibly frustrated watching him lose the ball time and time again through carelessness. I really wanted him to succeed here but i think its time we cut our loses on this one

in a pre-Mbappe world, he'd probably only get half as much shit as he does right now but thats how it is

we wasted 200mil+ on a kid and Coutinho-not-a-winger-not-a-433-midfielder-doesn't-fit

HAZARD should of been the damn player we signed. don't care about him flirting with Madrid, hes a proven world class player and Barca would of been the step up for him to show it in CLs.

Easy to say in hindsight.

Suarez lost 1000 balls today.
Even if Dembélé does not play, you will look for something on him.
Suarez loses more balloons than him!

Even if Mbappé was there, he will not play after his first match because it will reproach him for not defending!

lol just no! Dembele is perfect for our 4-3-3 Barca system but no one, and I mean no one thought EV would play Mourinho's system 2.0. And no one thought he will be so bad in developing youngsters. Tonight after the final whistle of City's game which they played superb football and won against archrival United, while the players are celebrating, Pep wasn't happy. He grabbed Raheem and angrily argued with him. When he was asked by the media what was it about, he replied:

“I like a lot when he played [but] the best way to defend a result is to keep the ball,” Guardiola said. “He made some movements with the legs, we can avoid it but he is young, he can improve.”

Wait what? He rebelled to get a move, not that he wasn't developing there.

He was acting dumb when barca wanted to buy him, he is acting dumb now also, and you think its about valverde, even if it is, he is profesionall and gets paid alot to act as one, but guy is obviously not 100% committed, nothing to defend here

Two different kinds of "dumb" can't be compared. Easy to say that he should be professional irrespective of his manager. What about Valverde? Shouldn't he be professional? Ask those who have had terrible bosses how easy it is to motivate yourself.

The bottom line is he could be unfit for Barca but we won't know that for sure unless we get a half decent manager. If he keeps behaving like this under another manager he should be sold.

Well yeah this is why Pep is a world class and Valverde is far away from that. You can't compare those two. It's like comparing Munir to Messi. What I honestly can't understand is that a club like Barca can not find a better manager than Valverde. That's really sad.
