It really fits your agenda. You are lucky that Semedo did not play today. This defensively shambolic perfomance wasn't about Roberto, Semedo would have struggled just as much because he is not a defensive beast like he is made out to be here.
Also about that three own goals part, good thing he did not score any own goals today, lest I would have to come up with a new excuse to redeem him /s.

That's a myth. Check the stats. The eye test can be deceitful. I also do not agree that Semedo has shown anything to display that he is better than Roberto. To tell you the truth, I was ecstatic when Semedo arrived: I posted messages like "thank fuck we finally have a real RB and Roberto can play in midfield now", but it turned out that Semedo is simply not that good. I get your frustration with Roberto's defensive mishaps because you scrutinize his every mistake and overanalyze, but atm there is no better available right back on the market for Barca than Roberto.

He was playing well, finally showing what he can be, hasn't started since Roberto, a squad player, came back.

I did not refute the fact that Roberto is better in attack as well. Check the statistics fam.
You are really having your way with twisting my words. I said that there is no better available RB on the market than Roberto, not that there is a better RB than Roberto for Barca at all, which are two fundamentally different things.
I also watched all Barca games this season, and Semedo just doesn't cut it. I did not say that we can't trust our eyes either, I said that the eye test can be deceitful. Why do you over exaggerate everything?

You resort to cheap jokes and insults instead of engaging in a normal argument, which is why I haven't argued with you prior to this. It's really frustrating.
About the eye test, what I mean is that your visual impression is not the most accurate way to assess a player's level, but relying on statistics only is not correct either because according to them Ozil is the best playmaker to have ever existed. It should be a mixture of both, and I just don't see Semedo's supposed superiority, nor do the stats reflect it.

You may not trust your own eyes but i do trust mine and will take their judgement over "stats" anyday.
Even Roberto's most hardcore groupies don't claim he's better in defense than Semedo but you...you're a special one aren't you
When has Semedo been folded like a lawnchair day in day out by any half decent attacker? When have teams consistently targeted our right flank and succeeded with Semedo playing like they do with Roberto every match? You wouldn't know that since you don't trust your eyes and your "stats" won't tell you that.
