What opinion do you guys have about Milan Skriniar?
I think instead of signing Lenglet or de Ligt, we should make a cash + Rafinha deal with Inter for him

Guys we must go out and buy this summer.. a definite MUST!!! Go out and buy players that'll make this team the most competitive Barca team ever WHY? B/c of Real Madrid

How can Real Madrid win B2B2B UEFA CL? 3x in a row.. it's a huge slap to Barcelona....
imagine what Real madrid would've done if that was Barca... we have to spend.. like really..

Don't think he would accept a backup/rotation role.

Going on a spending spree just because of Madrid's success in CL would be wrong. What did Madrid do after we won a treble in Pep's first season? They went out and bought Ronaldo (great decision), Kaka (bust), Benzema (so-so, most RM fans I know don't like him too much but he was still an important part of their success), Xabi,... but they still needed 4 more years and some smart, no big money signings like Modrić and Isco (alongside bringing back Carvajal and Casemiro) to won La Decima. And after they won La Decima they also added Kroos.

So only spending big won't necessary bring us success. We should spend our money smart. I think 100M for Griezmann in this market would be both spending big and smart, 30-40M for Arthur is spending big (for an unproven player in Europe) but hopefully it will also turn out to be a good decision. For the rest of the transfer window we'll see what the club will do but we'll most likely bring another player or two. Let's hope they will also be the right players and not just players we'll spend big money on who won't bring what we need.

If the rumored wage Griezmann will be getting is correct, its quite deceptive to only focus on the transfer fee and not include the signing on bonus and his wage. 15m net per year is like 28m gross per year. Over a 5 year contract, thats far more than the 100m transfer fee. He'll be a huge investment and will force Coutinho to play far from the goal in midfield, whether we like it or not. Time will tell whether that is a smart decision.

Its also worth pointing out that RM have hardly spent any money over the past 5 years when taken into account their sales. The amount of money they have for spending big in the coming years must be insane.

Good if true, we need both, should also get De Ligt.

This RM is not even that great. Pep era Barcelona would beat this RM easily.
It will be next to impossible to build a team that strong again, even more so if you have a coach with shitty tactics.
But we need to spend big yes, get rid of ALOT of deadweight players, and build for the future with quality talent.

Iniesta dribbles while running with the ball while Xavi does so staying stationary (even though very much a B2B, yet running without the ball).
Iniesta the creative midfielder and Xavi the distributer and metronome. Such a great dynamic duo. We need both types of players.

Of our current, (potential) future and young players, I'd classify them as following (depending on who their playing style resembles most)
Iniesta: Coutinho, Roberto, Denis, Aleñá
Xavi: Samper, Arthur, Riqui Puig, Jandro Orellana
Mixture: Thiago, Alex Collado
Only B2B: Paulinho, Gomes

I'd put Rakitic by Xavi if not for the fact that he always seeks the difficult pass. Check Barca pass maps, he rarely (and I mean rarely) passes the ball to the other CM. That's a very big flaw.

Also, Roberto not allowed in midfield is a travesty.

And finally, just a fun video of Coutinho and Arthur (shame he's not going to the WC, would have be nice to see them playing together).

Man Coutinho and Arthur. No one could take the ball away from us. To me it looks like Arthur plays In the wrong league, he is just way above those teams in South America.

Arthur's acceleration, quickness are so impressive and he really knows how to hold the ball. Looks perfect fit with Barca.. Get him over to Barcelona in summer!

Literally have no idea what might happen this summer. Who'll come and who'll leave... can only guess.
