I think Suarez has been incredible sicne his return from injury breathtaking football.

Best striker? maybe. But his overall gameplay isn't good at all apart from scoring. And I am not even asking him to dribble past 3 players or something.

He can't pass simple passes, can't control a simple ball etc etc and this happens way too much. There was a game he played some time I ago I don't exactly remember aganst who but he did not score but provide assists and was nice throughtout the game. Those are the kind of matches I want from him.

Kane's better, Aguero's better, Lewandowski's better, and I say without being huge fans of any of them. Suarez has been very good for Barca, not debating that, but he's nowhere near what he was. Scoring well enough recently, but offers absolutely nothing else. His touch/interplay is laughably bad, half his passes are misplaced backwards sliced shanks, and he is ludicroulsly, slow motion slow. The game's where he's too much of a liability towards our build up far outweigh his poacher abilities. Because that's really all he has these days, alongside an unlikeable personality which can occasionally unsettle defenders. That's not enough for me. Put someone up with Messi who he can RELIABLY link with, and watch him explode.

He's not best in the world right now. Barcelona needs overall game, and Griezamann is ideal to offer that. Just like Luis did before. Now he's aged. Time to go or sit on bench more than usual.
