I rate Mats higher than Oblak as he's a better all around keeper than he is.

As good as he's been, there's just no way anybody comes close to De Gea right now surely. He is a MONSTER. I think MATS is still a level below that. But that's not an issue, because aside from De Gea and Neur, there aren't many better at this point in time.

Atleast we finally have a solid goal keeper for a change for all competitions. Its been years since thats been the case. Post Zubi it was a mess with the likes of Hesp, Baia,bonano and rustu. Then we got some stability in Valdes. But he was always the weakest link but got a pass since he was a la masia product.
Bar a few big games he has only been great in tata’s season after which he got injured. Pinto was a joke back up and just there cause he was friends with Messi. Afterwards we get Bravo who was great in la liga but mats was still a liability in cl.
Last season Mats was mr Freeze but since then he has really stepped up his game and became a top 5 goalkeeper. And even if he got injures Jasper is a more than worthy back up goalie.

He is/was for sure, but this last few months/games MATS stepped a level up. If he keeps like this for entire season we could argue. Now I gave him some credits

Neuer is IMHO still a Universe for himself.

De Gea has to be considered better overall but if TS had been conceding some of the goals De Gea in recent weeks they would get over analyzed to fuck and some blame placed on him.

Overall this season TS has probably been best in world but others done it longer.

He's as good a shot stopper as De Gea, still prone to doing the simple things a bit wrong. I still shit myself whenever he attempts to join in the passing game at the back.
