I honestly feel that Gomes can still be an important player for us .

I felt the same about Liverpool's Can when everyone was dissing him but who's doing real well now and Arsenal's Granit Xhaka who's not to everyone's taste but he's a one of the few ever presents in Arsene's starting line ups .
