True. We were quite poor that season (when we got hammered by BM in the CL) but because we scraped many wins against the minor clubs (thanks to Leo most of the time) we won the league with ease. In fact, leagues are won mostly in this way, namely, by beating the bottom 10-12.

We were up 10 points with 8 matches to go, and then we lost to Real, Valencia and Sociedad and the lead crumbled to a single point so we had to win all of the 5 remaining matches to win the title.

Thankfully we did.

We can't get complacent with this lead. We need to use it to put even more pressure on Madrid. If it gets bigger, something like +10, or +12 and we continue to win it's our league to lose. But we need to show up with a good level of play every week. Harder games will follow soon.
