More talented than Pedro for sure, liked his attitude today and if continues with that he can be important for us.

Easy...

People are/were vastly overrating Pedro.

Deu can actually beat a man one on one.

If he keeps working on defense as he did this game he is already better.

Don't disrespect Pedro. Pedro is a much smarter player that has won everything for Barça and Spain and has been a success with Chelsea too. Meanwhile Deulofeu has been a reject in every club he's played in.

I do have hopes Deulofeu will step up and contribute to Barça this season though.

Not only was Pedro very successsful in term of titles, but was/is a key player for all of the teams you mentioned.

Just wanted to point it out :)

The overreactions...
After last couple games against RM he was shit and not good enough to play professional football. After this game he's a surefire starter.
He's just a useful squad member, good enough to get wins against most sides in la liga but not good enough to contend in CL.

Yeah but you notice the difference between the reactions from both games :p One being against one of the best teams in the world and the other against a team that will battle against relegation.

Two different roles to be honest and it is difficult to compare. Today him playing a RW along Semedo proved to be effective

I'm not "disrespecting" Pedro at all. Just being realistic. He played with the best Spanish generation of all time and the best player of all time.

Sure he is serviceable for Chelsea. I did not see him break the league like Alexis though.

Pedro had advantage because he was never as good as Deu, therefore was not hyped to the sky coming from the youth teams. This made him unselfish and hard working. Deulofeu was arrogant and entitled which made him lazy and fragile in heated moments.

Deulofeu has much higher ceiling if he puts his head into it and be humble.

A nice game from him, but one question for guys who watched him more often.
Does he have problems with Stamina?

His match looked like this:
10 mins: he doesn't do anything
11th minute: he makes an amazing action
Next 10 minutes: he needs to slow down to catch a breath
20th minute: an amazing action
2nd half: even worse (looking as if he is tired all the time) and less running/solo actions.

I am exagerrating, but you get the point.
For now it seems: when he tries a solo action, he is awesome. But it seems that he has stamina only for 5-6 actions over a match.
He isn't able to run up and down for 90 minutes and try 20-30 solo actions (for example, Neymar was able to try a solo action every 2 minutes and wasn't tired).

If someone will reply: it is the 1st match of a season.
Neymar and Roberto also played only 2-3 matches this season.
Roberto is running like a robot. Neymar is running up and down at Psg, the same as always. 20-30 times per match.
They aren't affected by the 1st match of a season.

I am sorry. But I opine that your arguments are far fetched and does not line in any way with reason.
The claim that Real Madrid won three CLs because of Neymar.
And that Dybala will make us worse.
And now this.

I think you might be too much inclined on statistics.
