Went and read news. PSG is claiming they paid.

The French LFP also apparently gave some words:

- Cheque was given to Barca.
- But it's the spanish LFP that has to get the money first, so Barca has to give them the cheque to break the release clause.
- Spanish LFP gets the money, then gives it to Barca.

Would be great if somebody can confirm this though. I didn't know Barca couldn't just get the money?

How Moneymar and his father played with Barto and his board is just incredible!
To me it seems like Moneymar had an agreement with PSG since last summer, he just told them to wait until he collects last big sums of money aka "loyalty bonuses" and the join them.
The very smart board renewed his contract and to stop him from flirting with other clubs in the next summer they raised his buyout fee by.. brace yourselves ..the huge amount of 22 million Euros!

Munich can spend 200 m euros or even 300 m euros on a player. Did you see their new youth academy, which costed us over 100 m euros with inner design?

Regarding EPL, English clubs are the ones who destroyed the transfer market. PSG signed one of the best 3 players for 222 m euros and PSG has spent less than them in the last 4 years.

Chelsea, and both manchester spent more in the market in four years than PSG with neymar tranfser included.

The EPL started the trend to overpay players.

If you look outside a one 222M transfer like Neymar, there are plenty of 40-70M transfers that are way too high. An example, nope Mendy from Monaco is not worth 60M. Nowhere near that. Manchester City broke the fee record for a defender twice in a row in just one week. But I guess EPL chief sees nothing wrong in that, while it is. They overpay. They don't even negociate anymore, they threw money here, and there, and are done with it.
