Yes. Exactly. Neymar is the reason not just for the downfall of barca. He is also the reason Madrid performed so great.

He did fuck all both times against atletico when barca were knocked out and same against juventus. He also cost Barcelona la liga with his red card against Malaga.

Madrid dodged a bullet by not signing this guy and were able to bring in the likes of isco, kroos etc while barca were crippled by the huge wage bill.

BLASPHEMY!
Listen, his silence says it all. If he was staying there would be zero reason not to say so as he " breaks his silence". He's as good as gone. Disrespectful bastard.

Messi and Suarez did next to fuck all in those games as well, bar Messi having a good game away to Juve but nothing special.

fucking hell. Are they waiting to receive this money before transferring? Thats a new low

Probably wouldn't need to wait for the money and likely won't come from our transfer budget, these expenses would have been accounted for in the previous fiscal year I would assume.

I would give a counter argument but this is just too much crap for me to waste my time. But kudos to you how you were able to link neymar with real's recent success.

Monaco have/had the best young French talent that would certainly be an upgrade to the players PSG have, so why isn't PSG after those players? Especially considering PSGs top player like Cavani, Di Maria, Silva, Matuidi are all around 30 or older. Why sign a near retired Dani Alves if they could just buy an elite RB in their prime? Why sign crap like Ben Arfa or second rate players like Jese, Trapp, Krychowiak or Yuri?

I think you severely overestimate their ability to attract good players who also have opportunities to go play in the top European clubs and earn less money.

Plenty of reasons. They cant just spend a gazillion euros every year. They have to follow the FFP rules. They also have a coach who wont automatically prefer Monaco players over every other player. They have Meunier and Aurier at RB. And now Alves. I think Alves has shown that he is still not retired. Which team has better RB situation than PSG? I also dont think the level in France is signficantly lower than in Italy.

I don't understand how so many people rationalize calling Ligue 1 a shit league when France produces so many good players. Being bad and being poor are not the same thing.

Puyol on when he was asked about the Neymar drama

I don't know what's going to happen with Neymar. He needs to talk and explain what he wants to do because I can't control him or speak for him.

The decision needs to be made by him. I'm not responsible for the club so I don't know if they have already decided on what they're going to do.

I'm not sure if he dreams of leaving but it is getting harder for a player to spend his entire career with one team.

Football is changing, even though there are special cases like Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta.

But the good players leave Ligue 1 to move on to Bundes and La Liga. Clearly they want better competition

They put Alves on like 12m a year, he earns more than Veratti. I'm going to assume that is a starting XI player salary. So yes, they are likely signing a 34 year old near retiree as a starter.

Fair enough if their manager/sporting department might not prefer Monaco player , but that still doesn't excuse them from all the crap that they have bought in recent years. They are worse than us in that regard despite having much higher financial power.
