"The chickens have come home to roast" This is the price we pay for the obsession this board has with Segunda A. They abandoned La Masia and now we will start losing our best prospects. The club is supposed to give these players a path to follow, but lately they have offered none. We can develop players no matter where Barca B is playing. They better get promoted now, cause the destruction of La Masia will continue.

First tweet says Barca knew by April he would leave.

Second tweet says him leaving the Club was likely due to money, likely influenced by his agent.

Not Mboula, but all these journalists who follow La Masia are more angry at Eric Garcia leaving and claim it's not about money despite him potentially joining City. More about the club and how they've acted. Pep Segura in particular.

He is joining about the worst club possible for a chance of breaking through. Fairly obvious it is about money.

Saying it's not about money seems to be a way of trying not to burn the bridges in case he has hopes of ever returning. "It's not like I'm spitting in the face of the club that made me so I can make big money somewhere else, I just don't like the way that person treats me!"

Garcia is no different than any other La Masia player who's left to England at 16, don't let words fool you...

I follow Albert Roge and Capdevilla, who are both La Masia Journalists and while I like their analysis and thoughts on the players I do think at times they are quick to blame the club when it comes to rumors of departures and instead of the idea that some players simply want to leave for better wages/chances elsewhere.

Club isn't perfect by no means obviously and they done some dumb shit when it comes to Barca B-La Masia in general, but some of these Journalists need to realize it's not always the club management's fault that some players decide to up and leave for their own benefit.

Is he gonna start with their B team and get call-ups to the first team during the season or start right away with the first team?
