Only area where i would like him to improve is long balls as he almost neve4 deliver them.(pique serves the left wing all the time)also i woukd like him to be more audacious with his short passes. Other than that he has the heart, and is performing well at the moment.

No comments here .. Thought he was the only player who brough his balls with him to the pitch today .. ( and probably messi) not a great match but as least he didn't contribute to this bullshit

He is a better left back than Alba especially in passing. He made a lot of direct passes to Suarez which caused problems for Juventus.

Honestly Umtiti was a better deal than any I can think of under Zubi. This is a market where John Stones goes for close to 55m. Too bad all of Robert's other signings sucked ass.

Funny enough Gerrard, Wright and Lineker don't think much of him.

And Souness said Pique is not good enough for a mid table EPL side!

Who will he deliver those long balls to while our right wing is usually empty for most of the season

To me Samuel Umtiti is the signing of the season. When he started out in August he seemed uncertain and a little shocked. Now near the end of the season he is more focused that ever, showing the world that he's got a big brave Barca heart.

Like theres options or something

Well, unfortunately we don't have sugar daddy like Florentino Perez to go and buy us Coutinho (55 milllion euro at least for giant club like Barca), Paulo Dybala (130 000 000 euros) and Eden Hazard (100 000 000 euros at least). Don't forget UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations. I read somewhere that Barca have about 80 million euros to spend this summer, so the club definitely has to sell two-three players this summer to make a big transfer.

Well that shouldn't be too difficult.

Florentino doesn't put in his own money in Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have a concise transfer strategy the last few years of hoarding up the best talent possible so that when the time comes to sell, they are able to get good fees for them. Meanwhile they have great squad strength.

I believe our net spend have been higher than theirs the last 4-5 years, yet they have the better squad because we have been signing trash and selling trash isn't as easy and valuable as selling gold.

Real Madrid also negotiate hard for player salaries while we give every tom, dick and harry like Arda a fairly high one compared to what they give to comparable players.

They use the motivation to play for Real Madrid as the main selling point, while we fail to do so in a similar way.

Say all you want about the failed Galacticos, but their transfer strategy since he came back again has been impressive.

Had it not been for a certain #10, I think they would have had the last two league titles since it ended quite close.

What do we need Dybala and Hazard for?
