Barca Transfers and Rumors

Kompany has played like three games this season. 20 games in total last season in all competitions, including games he had to go off injured.

But yeah sure, he isn't done, finished. Mathieu our 3rd/4th choice CB is playing more minutes.

Must be delusional to compare that to Suarez who barely gets injured.

Damn I am certain either of 3 things just happened.

1, You missed the point!

2, You just suggested that kompany missed City's games on purpose?

3, You made absolutely no sense in relation to what was being argued about, being "Barca not being a retirement home". Otherwise what does the last sentence have to do with anything?

You said that you would'nt mind having Komapany as a cheap back up defender, this how it started right ? When others told you that it wasn't a good idea beacause Barca isn't a retirement home you replied with something like "Suarez is old too". Kompany is injury prone, it's not about age. Suarez is still good because he is fit. I don't understand why would anyone want Kompany in any team.

LMAO! The irony of it!
We have a Luis Suarez who is exactly the same age as Vincent Kompany, somehow so many of you believe he has many years to offer.

1-Luis Suarez signed when he was 27,has been on brilliant form since then and healthy,ICYMI we were actually searching for a young no9 last season to give Suarez rest and to be able to be his heir, while we made the wrong signing it isn't like we don't aknowledge Suarez age,I doubt anyone would have advocated signing him at the age of 30.
I can get the idea of going for a cheap option but there are things you have to consider
2-He is on high wage,he has no reason to come here for cheap, and if he earned same wage he isn't cheap.
3-Mathieu was healthy, athletic player willing to take huge pay cut to come here and do his role,Joined us even younger than Kompany would btw.
4-Health as mentioned is huge factor, there is no "if healthy" in Kompany situation. He isn't health any more. That is the same reason City was competing with themselves for someone in his prime like Gundogan, because no one else wanted to risk the package he come with and it showed this season.
We took our risk with Vermaelen,we only paid 10M for him and FIFA has even compensated us for 2M for his injury.so we paid only 8M for his service and he is still considered bad signing,no way board would take same risk again

IF Kompany wasent so extremly injuryprone he could probably be up there to contend for the best defender the last decade.
But hes more vulnrable than glass, cant play 1 game without getting injured.
We learned our lesson with Vermaelen (i hope) and i would stay far away from him.

I dont know why were looking for a CB at all tbh. We now have Pique, Umtiti, Mascherano and Mathieu, We can just pick up Marlon as if Mathieu/Mascherano leaves/quits.
CB is probably one one the least worrying position.

Coutinho - Yes. He fits the Barca style well, and has high quality. The problem is his best positions is occupied by Neymar.
Verratti - Has never seemed Barca-type to me. Many of the best players are not right for Barca.

Coutinho fits Barça, but Verratti doesn't? How? Verratti is the closest thing to Xavi out there.

Coutinho fits the Barca style well but Vweratti never has.

If this isn't trolling there's no such thing.

It's his opinion, but personally I've never seen anything really special in Coutinho apart from his golazos. A player who supposedly is one of the best in the PL and the offensive catalyst, should stand out more than Coutinho actually does. He disappears way too much IMO. His dribbling and creativity overrated when he doesn't have much to show for.

I am more impressed by Manè and Firmino whenever I've seen Liverpool play.

Disagree about Mane and Firmino, but I agree that Coutinho is too much a forward for what we need right now. If anything, we should look for playmakers with good close control and who run a lot. And also, who do not like forward action too much. I don't want someone who has the tendency to go up from midfield because he wants to score goals.

Md
Dybala or Griezmann to give competitiveness to MSN. Suuure.

Massimiliano Allegri podría ser el reemplazo de Luis Enrique en el banquillo del Barcelona https://goo.gl/isDvOP

Robert already dismissed that in an interview he gave today.
