Ofc it's a pk. Suarez was going to try to head the ball. It's a foul, inside the box. A pk.

There's clear contact at the legs though. If you look at it in regular speed live, Marquinhos is coming from behind and colliding with Suarez. It's a soft penalty because Suarez makes the most of it, but it's not a bad call to give that as a penalty.

At first I only looked at Marquinhos hand and Suarez neck since Suarez was grabbing his neck on the way down, but he only did it to amplify the foul - the foul was clearly when Marquinhos ran into his legs. This pen would not be given by maybe 50% of the refs, but imho its still a pen and not a dive. Good job Suarez!

Yes, really good job Suarez, really stupid the defender (red card, last man, clear chance on goal)

Blatant dive .. But if that 's gonna help the stomach of the haters secrete some acid so be it. Nobody said shit when a bad call denied us a penalty against atletico in the semis.

Let's be honest, it was a dive (despite the PSG defender might have the slightest contact but he still took full advantage of the situation) and he dived a couple of times during the game. If he was playing for another team I bet many of us would call out those dives without hesitation.

But then again, it is part of football, it happens to EVERY team. Some times we get the lucky end of it, sometimes we don't.

At first i though its a dive, anyway marquinos hand around suarez neck when suarez is closer to the ball its forbiden, but now i see there is a clear leg contact frommarquinos, clear penalty, suarez cant stay on his legs even if he wanted to

It'a a penalty. Marquinos doesn't even look at the ball. His eyes are focused solely on Suarez. He first knees him in the thigh and after that puts his arm on his neck. Maybe Suarez milks it but don't put your arm around his neck after you also make contact with his legs if you don't want to risk it. Let's see how Suarez does if no leg or hand impedes his movement? I tell you what...he heads the feckin ball towards their goal.

Btw how many times has Messi stood up after illegal tackling by the opponents, only to shoot wide because he was unbalanced, w/o the ref giving him anything? Don't have fingers and toes to count.

Spare me the bullshit.

Obvious penalty. Even Croatian Madridista ref expert said so. He was clipped from the back.
End of story.

And btw. great game. That first goal was what set the tone and then his determination to win that penalty after running entire match.

He didn't have too much of an impact but his attitude all the time was remarkable. His body language screamed of not giving up and worked non stop for some magic to happen. He has had many average games lately but I can never fault him much because of his relentless undying attitude.

Wasn't a penalty by any means but who cares? If there are 7 goals scored in match its likely a few decisions went wrong.

Redcafe calling refs cheats for Barca is a bit rich.

They must have missed Ibra not getting sent off last week against Bournemouth for a blatant elbow right on front of referee or the soft pen they got late in same game.

Or how about the week before in the cup final when the officials chopped off a perfectly good goal for Southampton?

Guess that is all cheating also.
