It was a lucky win.
Lucho only changed the formation. The system, which is a more complex thing, is still the same.
We still played on the shitty Lucho's system.
Everyone has lucky wins, doesnt mean he didnt get it right today. Remember that Atletico is a very hard opponent, we used to suffer so hard against them before Lucho. If nothing else, he knows how to beat Atletico, something which our previous managers failed at.

Barca created a lot of chances today, more than Atletico did.
Barca had 22 shots at goal compared to 16 from Atletico and had 62% of the ball.
Team played much better than previous games and it wasnt some lucky win that Ter Stegen kept Barca in until two deflected goals as seems to being made out to be by some.
Would need to check but am sure PSG, Atletico in cup and Leganes even all had more chances than Barca.
Big improvement today.

Formation is merely the position of players on the pitch.
System is how players move on and off the ball, where passes are preferably made, when lines get compacted, etc, etc, etc.
There are a lot of things other than pure formation.
Lucho changed the formation but everything else is just like him: a mess.

Barça won possession on those other games too. And today MAtS did keep us in the game. Atletico missed a lot of chances in the 1st half. Think they got tired, because we improved in the 2nd half. But if not for MAtS, no win.

Barca missed chances in first half as well.
Oblak had three good saves, Messi blasted on over from edge of area and so did Suarez.
Controlling the ball and creating chances in this game was far better than previously.

Would you say he did get right if Mats didn't have saved 3 goals? No, you wouldn't.
We played like shit, even considering how hard Atlético is as opponent. You only think he did right because we won.
To "get it right" is not dependable on the score. You can lose and still show a great exhibition.

Oblak saved three for them and Barca created more chances.
Was much better overall with things to work on.
