Marco Verratti

Thiago Silva never really cared or was obsessed with winning trophies or his legacy as his family was settled there, so it's understandable. Not to forget Rosell completely fucked up with how he went on with it publicly expecting Silva to force his way out which he never wanted to do. He said he would join if PSG and Barca found a solution, but we never did. However I would be shocked if Verratti is just the same. He has the talent to be regarded as one of the best midfielders in history, but that won't happen in France winning French leagues or coming 2nd place if PSG don't improve and properly challenge for a CL. If PSG end up regressing this season then the logical thing to do would be moving somewhere else OR demanding PSG that in order to stay, they don't fuck up their team and management situation.

Here's the list L'Equipe published:

In monthly wages.

Interesting.

I think he's as important to the team as the rest of who's above him but the one that stands out the most is Pastore.. How is he on more!?

Pastore was really hyped and really good in Italy for Palermo. I remember watching him play(had a presentation about him in Spanish class lel) and thought he could play for Barca one day. That didn't pan out so well, but he was very talented and had some big performances behind him. If not PSG then Man City or Man Utd or someone else like that would have signed him. They gave him more money as he had performances to back it up along with the hype, and I believe it was the second year of PSG's big money project too.

Now Verratti was regarded as a special talent too, but he had never played in Serie A. He came straight from a promotion to Serie A with Pescara. He wasn't that hyped. He started out with a lot less money and have gone up the ladder.

Thanks for the insight. I never watch Serie A or much of PSG anyway. I just hope we can get Verratti some day.

Di Campli (Verratti's agent) told l'Equipe that winning the CL is a must for Verratti, and that if PSG can't deliver that he will move.

I have the same interview up, but in mine he says that PSG will a) not sell Verratti for no money in the world b) Verratti wants to stay for as long as he has contract c) that Verratti wants to win the league and CL with no further consequence mentioned if that doesn't happen.

The interview I'm reading is from february the 2nd

It's not the same interview. I don't think this one has been translated yet.

Il ne s'agit pas de faire partir Marco à tout prix mais il veut remporter cette épreuve. Et si ce n'est pas possible au PSG, alors il le fera ailleurs.

It's not about being deadset on leaving, but Marco wants to win this competition. And if that can't happen at PSG, he will do so elsewhere.

He is good. But If there is no Rabiot topic, please open it !

if Paris can keep those two players in the future, we will win the Champions League.
