Renato Sanches

But Götze is still 50 caps away from it and probably going to be sold in the summer, 125 caps would mean he had to last around 3-5 seasons there at this level playing regular as an 18 year old now, that's definitely good then.

Good ,not gr8
Again ,the guy is 50 games away from being most expensive player in Bundesliga history .good is simply not good enough for such deal

Bayern will either succeed with him, or they won't, possibly rising his price to 45-50 million from which they can get half the fee back by reselling which would then equal a 25m loss. It's a gamble simply, but a 25m loss would be easily managable for a financially stable team like Bayern. If he is neither great nor bad, just good but maybe not good enough (like for exampe Isco) then his reselling price might be even higher than that, bare in mind that he will still be something like 21 years old and the market will be heavily inflated starting from next season, that would marginate the loss. And if he's great, then Bayern did a good deal anyway.

90m for established players like Pogba and Verratti is not that crazy afterall.

Don't you think if he makes 125 appearances he will have shown something?

He costs so much so he is bound to get plenty of trust and matches. 50m means 75 matches, not 125 and he has to show more than "something" to defend the price.

Bayern :worthy:

So fucking jealous at how good they are at doing deals. Out of nowhere, Renato and Hummels made official on the same day. Get your shit together, Barca. Joke of a management.

You should be ashamed of such a post regarding Sanches. He´s just a overhyped kid with 6 months and 30 games in the PT league. lol.

35M at once + 5M for each time he plays 25 games + 20M if he reaches Ballon D'Or nomination or Fifa 11 (LOL).

Outrageous deal for a kid that´s just power and cant even pass a decent ball and you want him in Barça?

Horrendous deal by Bayern. Madness.

Portuguese clubs managed to fool another Europeam giant.

Is this kid a CM or DM? I read he is a DM, a box to box midfielder instead of a true CM?

I think Bayern does need a true CM.

Box to box but very, very raw. His passing is horrendous for me to consider him a top player in terms of potential. He was stamina and power but 35+45. LOL

If it was Barça Bartomeu would be hang but since it´s bayern it´s good business. I´ve seen him play almost every game of the 30 games he has in the 1st team. lol.

There´s a great player in Sporting, Joao Mário. He´s a gem. And way cheaper. Best player in PT league.

Hmm, doesn't sound like a bargain to me. Reminds me of Anderson to United, 19 years old, for 30m. euros in 2007.

Anderson had proven more. He was best player in WC of his group age. He was magical but Sir Alex played him as 6. lol. And later he became a party player.

Because he had zero end product to play further forward. Perhaps he did in his youth days but he broke his leg in his final year at Porto and I don't think he truly recovered. With hindsight it was a mistake to go through with that deal.

He was a likeable character but wasn't professional enough and didn't keep himself in shape.

Not true. After the injury he came back just like before. He got injured in late October and got back in first days of March. The problem was this: he was a pure 10. Like Ronaldinho. United never played under Fergie like that. He needed a team to mature in that role and not to play along Kleberson and Carrick as a DM. A travesty.
I also blame the player because he got spoiled after a few years in Manchester because of the fat paychecks.

English media reported yesterday that LVG asked Manchester United to stop pursuing him back in February and there were rumors saying he is 23 instead of 18.

Probably just being sour grapes.

I certainly hope you are right and he turns out to be a flop. :p

Impossible to play at 10 or any of the forward roles because he had zero end product. Average passer with no vision and horrible at shooting. He had no position and looked to me like someone who dominated his age groups at youth level but wasn't given the coaching to develop his game. We tried to mould him into a central midfielder and at times he showed promise but his conditioning was horrible and he lacked professionalism. Frankly he stole a living from United for too long.

Also Kleberson left years before.

Anderson never had the touch or guile to play as a ten.

One of the reasons Fergie played him deeper was because he needed more room to operate.
