Ugly looking stadium. Looks more like a shopping mall. From the top, it looks like copy of Allianz Arena. They will expand it to 105k seats? They can't even fill the stadium on a regular basis. The only time it's full is if it's El Clasico.

From the top, it looks like copy of Allianz Arena.

Allianz Arena looks better with it's full lightened color changing panel exterior. Looks a big improvement though outside of the stadium, especially at night. Hopefully that new stadium factor will reap in more visitors and ticket buyers, as well as our continuing on field success of course

Pretty much agree with this.Assuming they go ahead with the totally new stadium it's gonna cost shit loads right ?

Would it not be better to re vamp the original stadium and if needed make a few more corporate boxes whilst keeping the capacity the same ? Which would (I assume) reduce costs.

As said, we only fill it up in the big games, which is like 2/3 times a season.Last time I looked our av att was around 74,000 ?

That's what is going to be done, it's not a new stadium. The extra capacity will be due to more VIP boxes.

Regarding the design it does feel like they went with economics over style and grandeur. It will be interesting to see the rejected designs.
