Does Man Utd even have a style these days? If so, is it really one that needs preserving?
Van Gaal is trying to re-shape it but not doing a good job.
Success Bayern had in last 6-7 years is much due to the Dutchman laying foundations. He was unlucky not to win CL vs. Inter but he shaped that team. Many Bayern fans would agree that Bayern are in debt to Van Gaal.

Many Manu fans thinks LVG actually is building a good team .his short term work is in very doubt and they are very frustrated from it .but the "long term" work seem appreciated
Yeah, should re-phrase that. What I meant is his work is not yielding good results so far.
People tend to dislike him for his personality but he is a guy that builds teams and trusts the youth. And he is loyal. In short he is a positive type of managers unlike Mou and some others.

There is not too much difference between Man Utd and Citys squads really.
Man Utd when fit have the better back four, City have the better attacking players when fit.
Man Utds attacking players will look much better when not stifled by LVG tactics.

"Tradition" isn't really a big factor anyway, Pep is the quintessential modern manager.

It may sound a bit crazy, but I think he would be an excellent fit at PSG. With rumors of Ibra going to MLS after this season, it's the perfect time for him to join. They have a very good midfield which we all know is very important for the Pep system. Verratti, Matuidi, Di Maria, and Rabiot could all really shine under him.
