Let's all laugh about our arch rivals continuing to sign young talent at fair prices!!! (Minus James, of course).

Let's continue laughing when we buy an overhyped Serie A "phenom" for 80mil and pay him 12mil net wages. So funny!

Yeah let's all laugh about our arch rivals continuing to sign young talent at fair prices and still fail to win. (1 CL in 12 years, 1 La Liga in 7 years)

Let's continue laughing when we buy an overhyped Serie A "phenom" for 80mil and pay him 12mil net wages and keep on winning.

Indeed so funny!

I don't think he will have a good time at Madrid. He's talented and a joy to watch when he's on fire, but he also lack consistency, and this will be an issue for him in a club like Madrid that is already packed in midfield with more established stars than him.

He won't be a starter though so less pressure there. Also has another former Dinamo Zagreb player Modrić to guide him.

He's only competing with two players and he's superior on the ball to Casemiro so I don't see a big issue. He should play for about half a season at least. It'll be about motivation and ability to be humble and learn. Ozil did it from the get go and succeeded while kicking Kaka straight to the curb with ease. Isco continues to prove himself ever since he joined. No reason why Kova couldn't surpass Modrić or Kroos if they start getting injured or play crappy.

It is okay guys no matter what real can't just overthrow us easily as long as messi is still here. And with all the midfielder signings it will soon become a circus at Madrid. Rakitic and busi are not old yet and yes pogba is overpriced but we will manage to sign him somehow. He will create revenue for us too :bartomeu: Seriously though at this point I don't mind pogba but real concern would be who is midfielder who provides control. I would say sign gundogan or groom samper well. Denis and rafinha are not that type of midfielders and neither is roberto. So if we sign pogba then pogba rakitic busi will form a partnership with iniesta and arda as backups. That is real quality but only concern is busi will have lot of work unless pogba and rakitic help him in defense so that busi can concetrate more on controlling the game.

That is exactly my opinion. He is damn talented and he needs playing time constantly to develop into a good player. He shouldn't join Madrid or even barca. Should wait until he becomes unbenchable starter at inter and should make the move. Poor decision to go to Madrid. James and modric are unbenchable if they are fit. Then there is isco and perez stupidity that bale has to start no matter what. Kroos ideal replacement is casemiro. Kova can't play at DM. Someone is gonna be forced out of the club. If modric doesn't perform then it is him or otherwise isco. Ideal thing would be to start with James on right and isco modric kroos as midfield with kova as backup but bale has to start.

Considering how you're speaking, you seem to have absolutely no clue why we've had so much success. You also seem to think the success will continue...especially when our youth has been overall unimpressive to say the least and more than half of our recent signings have been very poor...Song, Vermaelen, Douglas etc...all wasted money. We won the treble last year, but it still had a lot to do with why we won all the recent titles in the first place.

I'm all for reinforcing our team while Messi is in his prime, but that doesn'mean we can't plan for the future simultaneously. Keep laughing dude, just another Barca fan drunk on recent success who doesn't know what it was like pre Messi and to a lesser extent, pre Ronaldinho.

You know Pogba is a bad signing when even RM fans are saying he's too expensive and overrated. But hey, whatever.

The thing is I yet to see where Kovacic's best position is. He's played as DM, LCM, CM, AM at Inter. We could never find a fixed position for him. I say he played decent, good and sometimes great in every position but also bad in the same ones. I donno where Benitez is gonna play him tho and how someone with his characteristics is gonna function in his team.

Real keeps signing quality talented players that are young is worrying. They dont even need him just to prevent we sign him, same with Danilo.
Meanwhile we sign older players for high fees, this will hurt us in 4/5 years in the post messi era.

we really haven't had to sign that many young players in the last few years as most of them have been created from within

My answer was to someone who is always speaking highly of Real Madrid signings while at the same time condemning Barca's signings. But what we saw on the pitch in so many years doesn't really back up your claims. Just because Real always come up with 'fancy' signings doesn't make their signings 'right'. It's not like Barca's doesn't make ridiculous signings. But it's never as bad as people like you claim it to be.

I keep laughing because cyber fans, which seemingly you are one of them too, always come up with this "you are just a new fan" every time someone else challenge your claims. Try harder dude. I've been supporting this club since the Cruyff era but you don't find me going around riding my high horse all the time because of that. Claiming you are the older fan just to back up your mere "opinion" doesn't make it right. It just makes you looks ridiculous. But I've been in the net long enough to now that fragile and intolerant fans are always the ones coming up with this claim every time they fail to see their 'opinions' being challenged.

You know Pogba is a bad signing when even RM fans are saying he's too expensive and overrated. But hey, whatever.

I don't consider Pogba a bad signing. Just not necessary for us now. Overrated? Yes. Overpriced? Yes. But Kovacic better than him? Definitely no. Not now at least.
