Claudio Bravo

¡Gr?*cies Xavi!
So wait Pinto is considered a winner and I believe he didn't even make a start in any of the CL matches and gets a medal (08-09) and (10-11)and is considered a winner but Bravo doesn't? Lol wat.

Pinto did play in the CL. Don't you remember his whistle against FC Copenhagen?

Pinto has a medal but is not considered a winner officially either.
Awful Decision then I just can't believe Bravo and the others aren't considered to be "Cl Winners" because they didn't get to Play. But like Don Ak said they were apart of the squad they deserve to be winners.

So Douglas hasn't won a treble and neither has Vermaelen. :vermaelen: :douglas:

Well Either way I doubt Bravo,Verm,Masip, and Douglas will return their medals and they shouldn't.

They don't have to return their medals, that'd be absurd. But in UEFA's records they will not be considered "champions." Total bullshit, IMO.

Yeah Like I thought UEFA gives the team 40 medals if I'm not mistaken would be pretty dumb to give them back just because Four players aren't "Champions" in UEFA logic. But to me all Four and the rest of the team are winners and they deserve it.

I actually think it makes perfect sense, really. Bravo, Masip, Douglas, Vermaelen... their contribution to the CL victory was literally 0, for various reasons. Being the first Chilean to win the CL would be a pretty cheap accomplishment for any future Chileans trying to win it, considering he never actually played there. Not his fault, but not any reason to raise your pitchforks at UEFA. If anything what we should do is point the finger at Lucho's rotation system. This situation could have been easily avoided (If they even care) if he'd have just given Bravo one CL appearance and possibly given ter Stegen a Liga appearance to make up for it.

There's a big a difference of being in the squad, training, being a part of the club in general to....zero involvement.

They did all of these, as far as the CL is involved. Just like ter Stegen, technically speaking, didn't really win La Liga. 0 appearances. But that's just general opinion and we could go back and forth like this for hours.

True. Winners in my eyes until there's a better arguement. :coffee:

sooo.. if some kid in 10 years googled vermaelen, found his wiki page and so on, will there be "CL 2015" listed under "success" on his page or not?

I was unhappy Bravo was called for his NT preparation of the copa and missed the celebration tour. If I was him I'd delayed my departure 100% no matter what.
