Not exactly according to a certain resident Sevilla fan. Well a least not after the move was announced.

Well... apparently he was our captain and all, but not the brain of the team. Ex. M'bia was more crucial/key component than Rakitic, and Rakitic's absence wasn't felt much, not even as much as Bacca's absence... or Fazio's. Banega (since 2014-15) in the other hand, is in FACT the brain of Sevilla, and will hopefully remain so for a long time.

I didn't expect Rakitic to fit greatly at Barca, but he did, end of the story. Congrats!

Hope the news is true.

Btw, if he indeed joins this summer, will he be allowed to train with the team for 4 months, like Suarez did? Will he be allowed to participate in preseason-friendlies?

Respect to Sport, they reported it first AFAIK, and seems like they were right. And Gundogan is incoming as well according to Sport, but not a done deal yet.

You dont believe that we are negotiating for Gundogan?

No. It's pretty sure that there's contact with both Pogba and Gundogan, everyone knows it.
SPORT announced that Gundodan is literally a "done deal" ; personally, I don't believe it.

Concerning Vidal, I hope that we'll loan him. Mayba to the pericos (he played for their B team in 2009).
I don't think that him not playing until January is a good solution.

We can't loan him out as we can't register him as one of our players to begin with. He could stay at Sevilla until January, though.

Perhaps its useful to get to know the system before he starts. Suarez adapted incredibly fast, probably because of training with the guys for several months.
