MD's prediction of Bayern's starting XI and formation:

3-3-2-2

Asinine formation.

Two wing-backs who like to attack and leave space behind is supposed to stop Messi? Laughable.

If Martinez is fit, he should definitely form part of a double pivot through the center. He was the man who continually broke down our attacks through the center in 2013. If he's it, personally it makes more sense for Pep to just rock a normal 4-3-3 with Lahm at LB, Rafinha at RB, MF trio of Schweini-Martinez-Thiago and Müller, Götze, Lewa up top.

It's days like today where I'm sure Pep wishes had the two players he sold this season, Kroos and Shaqiri. He could really use both right about now.

A lot of those talks were after the game, and they were pretty mild and certainly not the dominant discussion. Overall, Bayern was aknowledged at the time as the best team in the world by most Barca fans here. It is normal to talk about referee mistakes and best players not being fit, but there is a limit. It is pretty lame to bitch about injuries non-stop when you can line-up a team that can compete with anyone.

it is just natural to bitch about injuries. Because injuries are shit.
But no serious Bayern-fan on this forum here said "Bayern will only loose because of injuries" and this is what many people here seem to make it sound like.
If you are sympathizing with Bayern on this forum and you just say the sentence "Lewandowski is probably injured", then a couple of users e.g. Skn02 or StarLord will jump at you, already accusing you of "excusing" anything and stuff. Then some Bayern fan gets defensive, more Barca fans jump to their Cule's aid and this is how you get a stupid 10 page discussion like in this thread.

Luft, Ribery has been shit in 13/14 and good in 14/15. Problem was, he rarely ever played.
You seem to be confused about those two seasons ;)

If a player "rarely ever plays", and oscillated between "shit" and "good", and is also 32 years of age, it can only mean one thing: that player is finished at the top of the game.

when we loose we don't loose because of the injuries!

i think nobody would talk about the injuries if other players were out.

robbery and alaba are our key players....

but injuries won't be an excuse. they are part of football business.

it's up to pep to create a nice game plan :)

we still have a good team and nothing to loose. when i read the media it's really funny.

everbody talks how much goals we concede. :D

Wow, okay, so you just pointed out that Tito in fact was the coach when we faced you? Well whoop-de-doo, thank you Mr. Obvious. On paper he was. I don't know if Bojan can hand you a special, one-off Sherlock avatar for your sharp observation. Thanks for setting me straight!

It seemed like you were conducting a little more revisionism than necessary, or your memory just had suffered a little.

Busquets wasn't playing in the last Clasico I think that contributed a lot in what we saw in the first half.

Also, the team wasn't pressing as it is now, our defending and getting back the ball was more sparse and relied on Alves (ahum) getting it back or Piqué saving us, we also misplaced a ridiculous amount of easy passes in the middfield, I hope we don't repeat that perf.

The 1st half of the Clasico would've never turned out to be as horrible as it did, if Busquets had started the game. Mascherano is miles away from Busquets when it comes to keeping posession under pressure.

Yeah Busi not playing didn't help, i'm just saying that the game's fate is riding on the midfield. We don't look good without the ball and they are the best at keeping it.

+1!!!
At least for the away leg, Martinez is definitely the preferrable option to Alonso. Schweinonso have been shit 95% of the times anyways. Problem is that Martinez is still not back at full fitness, but who can blame him after being out so long.

or it means that he is injured, but plays every game where hes fit because he's still among the best players worldwide on his position.
