No, 3 yellow cards are needed for the first suspension. It doesnt matter if in consecutives matches or not.

Thanks Flavia.

In such a case then Atlético are in a bit of trouble unfortunately before their two matches against RM.

Let me ask you a question. Thiago has received 2 yellow cars and 1 red card (he got his red card after receiving 2 yellow cards in the first leg against Leverkusen). He served a 1 match suspension in the return leg this week.

Now the question is. Will he get another suspension if he receives a yellow card against RM in the first leg?

yes, he will. It's the same that can happen with rafinha.

That's bad news for Atlético. It will be vital for them to keep their cool at home in the first leg in order not to receive too many suspensions before the crucial return leg. Tiago is an important player for them. So is Gabi, Suárez but less so Torres, Ansaldi and Gámez.

Yes, if what you say is correct then only Rafinha will receive a 1 match suspension if he receives a yellow card in the first leg.

Also is it correct that all yellow cards will be annulled after the quarterfinals for all teams? What about red cards?

Anyway we should definitely force Matuidi to receive a yellow card in the first leg. VdW too if he plays which I doubt.

On a different note, I'd like to discuss a few of the possible transfer targets we may see PSG go after in the upcoming summer window. Read VDW mention that Paris has interest in Depay and that he's likely to move soon. If we miss out on Pogba that wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.

After Pogba and Depay, my favorites would be Amavi, Firmino, De Brunye, Dybala, and Sanson. Really think they need to add a few attacking players for depth, especially with likely departure of Levazzi.

Yellow cards will be reset, but red cards won't.

Good to know. Final question. Do you get a 2 match suspension for receiving a straight red card or just a 1 game suspension? The latter right?

It depends on the offense. Ibra got one match ban, but an act of aggresion could get more. Uefa gave aurier a 3 match ban from his comments on social media.

How do you rate PSG's chances against Barca?

I think Barca is playing better than anyone in the world right now, so after I saw the draw I was deflated. With Veratti and Ibra out for the first leg I'm not very confident in Paris chances. Messi is playing too well.
