Lol sucking qatar dry ...good job barcelona. Best thing is that qatar will pay double just to keep the deal after the accusations of damaging barcelona's brand. they will want to protect their image and you know that would mean they will pay much more. They wont care how much they pay that way, not the foundation, but qatar as a state, even if it makes no sense and makes them lose money terribly. Besides, all gulf countries sponsor terrorism whether it's ISIS or qaeda or whatever and it's not new and all countries have deals with them, so why should barcelona care ? Just suck them dry. The more they pay for barcelona the less they pay for salafist bastards to ruin our countries in lebanon and syria etc.

Chelsea have just signed a £40 a year deal with Yokohama rubber, the worlds leading tyre manufacturer.

We should be looking at getting €50-€60 million a year shirt sponsorship.

Anything under €50 million is bad business.

The EPL teams are getting these big sponsorship deals from clubs wanting to raise their profile in Asia.

Remains to be seen if they think they can get that through Barca.

But the next deal will be much bigger than the current 25m a year obviously.

I would have thought we would have more pull than Chesea, yes they have more viewers through the EPL but El Classico still remaind the most watched game in the world. I reckon we should be matching that deal.

Yeah Barca could match that Chelsea deal or better it.

In the past though Barca would have smashed the likes of Chelsea for these types of offers but there are certain factors now that EPL teams have an advantage with.

Chelsea were about to sign £25 million a deal with Turkish Airlines but changed their mind at the final stage of negotiation....This deal sounds insane for a club of Chelsea's stature but they do have a lot of exposure and Jose's presence means they are unlikely to struggle like us...

Do we need a shirt sponsor? Nice business wise for some extra ££$$€€, but harming the image of the club?

Tradition or remaining to be competitive in modern day football?

Can we compete as such without the need for a shirt sponsor with revenue coming else where?

Can we have a sponsor but advertised else where and not on the shirt?

No, no, no, no (main sponsor appears on the jersey, even some secondary sponsor such as Beko).

The club need a shirt sponsorship to stay competitive financially and the socios voted on it years ago.

I cant imagine anyone running tobe president of the club and proposing no shirt sponsorship would have even the smallest chance of winning.

The club already have numerous sponsorships but they dont compare anywhere close to the shirt deal which by last study said should be around 40-50m euros a season.
