Diego Simeone

I don't have a problem with it, Clubs just don't like if things go on behind their back. It's not allowed with players(everyone does it though), but I have no idea about coaches. I think it's more of a gentlemen's agreement in that case.
I read it's the same with coaches.

I'm just saying, that since it is technically not allowed, Atleti have every right to file a complaint.
Of course. What I criticized is what AS is reporting.

AS defended RM when they did the same.

Yet now they can be read as they hope FIFA will punish PSG.

So what you mean to say AS is Madrid biased? What a shock, I am speechless.......

According to Le_Parisien, PSG really wants to sign Simeone, but the spanish club thinks it should be able to keep its coach for one more year.

Hopefully he stays at Atletico for a few more years. I think they may fall into oblivion again if he leaves.

If he were to leave now or last season, yeah they would. If he were to stay long enough to make them grow financially and buy more stars, I think they'd stay at a decently high level. Certainly not where they would be with Simeone but only one or two tiers lower. His influence has gone far past his direct work with the team. He's instilled a champions mentality in the players, the fans, and the club itself. His work has been the bedrock of Atleti finally improving a horrid financial situation. To Atletico, he's a hero in absolutely all regards.

I'd love him to stay but I don't know if anyone on this planet is capable of keeping any outfit this motivated for so long.
Unless, he does a complete overhaul in a season or two, of course.

He deserved to win the coach of the year award, what he's doing with Atletico is nothing short of a miracle it has to be said. I hate the way his team dives around and wrestles other teams but i have nothing but a tonne of respect for Atletico and Simeone as they are an example for any team that doesn't have super stars that hard work and a never say die attitude can get u very far in life.

“I understand that the players are most important. The execution was perfect. We attacked well down the right and Tiago and Gabi both defended well. Koke suffered a bad injury, but Saul [Niguez] was brilliant.

“It may have been Siqueira‘s best game. He regularly tracked back, grabbed an assist, played with depth and knew when to push on. He’s a decent guy and works hard for his place. He’s shown signs of improvement, and it’s already happened with [Antoine] Griezmann.

“I have to thank the players. We played very well, we were both serious and compelling [in our approach], and it’s appreciated. It was nice to hear that the fans were proud of the players.

“It wouldn’t be fair if I spoke about our opponents’ [performance]. We did what we did in training. All coaches have lots of ideas, the difference is who can execute them, and I have a group who play how I want them to. Without them, none of this would be possible.

“We’ll go game by game, otherwise it’ll do us no good. I just think about how many chances we had. We always hoped to be strong in midfield. We dispossessed Madrid many times, stopped their counterattacks and attacked down the right because we had one extra man [on that side].

“We seek to combine our play more and play with more speed. It wasn’t easy to leave out Raul [Jimenez, Saul or [Jesus] Gamez, but the team come first. I realised we needed to play quickly. Saul did very well, he’s important for the future. I’ve always wanted him to stay, but he must be patient. We need his youth and enthusiasm, but also his patience.

“[My team] played better than me. The most difficult thing in a team is [allocating game] time. The group can change but they never break. This group are never satisfied, and I don’t know who to pick. They train how they play.”
