It is not an Nike vs. Adidas thing. Like I said earlier, Adidas doesn't do red and blue with tinges of yellow well at all (just look at the recent Basel jerseys), as they tend to get too crowded and busy with the three must-have stripes on Adidas jerseys. Adidas does rather well on white jerseys.

I'd like us to stick with Nike and force them to pay much more to retain us, and just come with better designs than this garbage.

The design is horrible, but the board has to approve it. So they're the ones at fault in the end. Nike doesn't make only one design, these clowns that chose that abomination.

Yeah, not a fan of horizontal stripes either. And to think someone is actually getting payed for designing this :banghead:

Apparently shirt sales are down, and a completely new design will fix it, sorry but it just looks terrible

It is not that bad...After all,it is only for one season. They are not going to change our history or anything.
In the end,the title-winning kits are the only ones which are truly remember. As if the 08/09 kit was anything great or traditional..

Maybe you don't follow Barça for long, but the 08/09 kits are similar to the 1999 kit:

The stripes have always been vertical. Changing that matters, if you want your club to have some kind of identity.

Now that I think of it, they might not be that bad if nike execute everything well, like this PSG one for example:

But they will change our history.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

1/ This training psg shirt is ugly.

2/ PSG fans dislike anything that is not close to the daniel hechter design. And everytime a shirt is not close to it, most of the fans rage and rage and rage. Here people are all good kids compared to those angry psg fans. that includes this year shirts too. Most fans dislike that about QTA. They think QTA doesn't respect the club traditions.

3/ This shirt is for training and it already caused too many discussions on french board.

Conclusion: other clubs are the same as you, most fans think a club has to keep some things intact if said club wants to keep his identity.

I just went by the looks and for me it's a fine, well designed shirt.

The current board destroyed everything and if they want to fuck our legendary home shirt as well then I at least want it to look cool.
