3 games, 3 clean sheets, 3 dominating performances despite the last two opponents being fierce teams. The attackers have clicked into their best form aside from Pedro and the midfield system is great even without Xavi, not to mention the beautiful pressing. Great promise and the team has stepped up even with very difficult fixtures.

Luis Enrique: "Satisfied with both defense and attack. The attitude of the players was excellent."

Luis Enrique: "Messi is not only the best player in the world for the goals he scores, but also for the assists he gives."

Luis Enrique: "Line-up? I've many options, it's like picking tomatos. Won't explain my choices here, rarely explain them to players either"

Luis Enrique: "I see Messi training every day and he does things you can't even see in Captain Tsubasa (animation series) or on PlayStation"

Luis Enrique: "We can play more on possession, wa can be more vertical. Sometimes we are too vertical, but that doesn't bother me too much."

Luis Enrique: "The tactical awareness of Busquets has surprised me. He knows what to do at every moment. Best in the world at his position."

Luis Enrique: "Rakitic more on the wing? We have different options. I'm not that stupid that I will explain here the reason for my choices." :worthy:

Cocky. The whole I-don't-explain-myself attitude might work with the public while the team's winning, but it sure as hell won't when they lose.

You are seriously a bit delusional if you are expecting a CL. LE is a great coach but that's asking a lot out of him. His focus should be getting back our La Liga Title. Everything else he wins would just be extra satisfaction for me.

For a club of its stature, Barca has fallen short on the european front. With Iniesta not getting younger, and Xavi in his last year, CL should be made priority. Surpassing Buyern and Lpool is imperative.

Iniesta has one more cl in him (at least) and Xavi does too depending on whether he stays next season or not. I just don't think that we will win the CL this season. There will always be a Chelsea to park the bus or Bayern to counter-attack like crazy. Even Atleti is a lot of trouble to us. We are no longer the team that every football reporter mentioned as the best ever. That comes with time and a lot of motivation from the squad/coach.

That being said, I think the midfield bond between Rakitic-Busi-Iniesta has the potential to be CL winning. Raki, from his first match in a blaugrana shirt, has managed to fit in to the team like a glove.

Same thoughts here, just hoping for a solid Liga performance first and foremost.
So far so good...

At the very least, I hope we're able to legitimately challenge for the CL. We haven't been able to do that since 2012.
