Maradona wasn't good, he was awesome. Some consider him better than Pelé, or Messi.

He ran today. 2 goals. Much better performance. But di Maria, Higuain and co need to step up.

It's poor revisionism. He scored amazing goals vs Belgium and England and was the stand out player so he get all the credit. He was amazing, possibly the best ever but people often forget Argentina win 3-2 in the final, a game where Maradona didn't score.

Today was his first ever multi goal world cup game, I hope he has another in the last 16 and beyond. Also he should really have a couple of assists by now.

Di Maria had a good first half, but he's been pretty damn shoddy here in the second.

And yeah, as someone already mentioned, the whole team looks so lacklustre after Messi was subbed.

I understand why Sabella took him off ...the nigerian players were kicking him left and right. But I'm still sad, because I wanted him to score a hattrick :(
