I think we're being a bit harsh on Bale. He definitely has a lot of quality. Sure, he can't dribble like Messi or Neymar but he has a thunderous shot, great pace, and good crossing. He's definitely not worth the money Real Madrid paid but if he avoids injuries and Ancelotti finds a way to integrate him; he'll make a positive impact for Real Madrid.

He is a Beckham. One Galactico too many.

As funny as the transfer fee was I hope it doesn't play a part in shattering Bale's confidence if his time at Madrid turns out to be a failure. Bale did nothing actually the whole game but it was his first Clasico and i think that's pretty much one of the few times he played in that style of play. I would say that he's selfish at times, he tried to score fancy longs shots instead of trying something more creative to do. I can't think that him and Ronaldo will go on together well if Ronaldo is in a good position and Bale decides to shoot..

That is stupid, considering everyone under performed in awkward formation. Bale is no different. I hate him because I think he is another Beckham, a one too many Galactico, not because he is shit.

There is no justification, the facts are clear as day light and that is no player can handle a price tag this high except a freak like Ronaldo, who when purchased had arrived to a normal preseason, not in the last hour of summer transfer window, to play alongside Ronaldo. LOL!

Ronaldo is trying his best to relieve him off the pressure and taking him under his wing, which is something I adore of Ronaldo but when Ronaldo came, we didnt have a Galactico this magnificent, Bale comes when we are packed so people aren't welcoming him the same way they did to Ronaldo. A similar case is Coentrao, as Marcelo who is a fan favorite already had the spot on lock and Coentrao came for an inflated price tag with absolutely NO POINT.
