Tactics that Bayern has worked with for 2 seasons, Pep has just started, there's no comparing. Back in page you yourself said that it needs time and right now you compare Heynckess who was with them 2 seasons and Pep that hasn't even completed one and even more so early in the starting of it? Not a fair one..

I said Guardiola is making Bayern even a better team, further fine-tuning them. However, it is pretty obvious that at this point so far the old tactics work better, these two don't necessarily contradict.

You did notice that once Thiagötze were gone, Bayern became more alive, right?

Can't argue on it, Bayern needed more attacking threat around the box. But it was the first intense game that Gotze starts since long time, wouldn't expect him to bring his best self so early again.

No, I am not saying he was bad, it is the way that Guardiola played him and Thiago and what they brought to the table, in the context of their tactics.

Robben is on fire, many would expected him to leave after Pep took over but he seems to be improving more and more with him.

his style is so unique... nobody else moves like that

Pace, change of direction/speed, and soft touch.

I'm not surprised he's doing well under Pep (though he was already back in form last year). Has a great touch and he's a more natural fit with a short inside passing game. Good vision, too, which I think we'll see more of under Pep. Great through ball today to Müller, who couldn't quite get a foot on it to put it in goal.

Pep shouldn't try to play tiki-taka with Bayern such a waste.. It looks like Thiago is the only player comfortable playing tiki-taka.

Aanyways, with Ribery and Robben on the wings Pep will always have a secret weapon.

Brings up the question, Should Luiz Gustavo be sold? Well you can say that injuries like these happen once in a while but still with an injured Martinez and Gustavo left it's only Schweinsteiger with good defensive abilities and now he's injured, the best for Bayern is to be out for a while otherwise they won't play with someone who can defend in midfield for a period..

I also read something about Gotze lost in the middle of midfield due to too many playmakers? Selling Gustavo clearly wasnt very wise. And unwilling to find a replacement for him is even worse. Pep's rotation doesn't feel like a rotation at all..

I don't need to unswer about Gotze, he needs much time to be fit and you can't forget it's a new team, he didn't suddenly adapted to his new teammates or the tactics so quickly. It needs some time for fitness and adaption and after i'm sure he'll impress. As for the Gustavo/ defensive midfielder situation the wrong thing is that Pep plays with 4-1-4-1 so all of them can't fit into the line up. In a lone role he prefers a box to box player rather than a clear defensive midfielder, and obviously he uses this line up to fit all those attacking players in the line up. It's very complicated until all players adapt to it, he could remain with 4-2-3-1 to see how the team works with his system. But from the moment he changed most things and the formation can't expect the most impressive things at the moment.
