Morning everyone. I am curious as to everyone's choice of top 3 Barca players in each position (GK, defence, mid and FW.) Lets get a bit of a debate going. I want to see some controversial ones!!!!

Defense : 1. Puyol 2. Koeman 3. Alves
Midfield : 1. Xavi 2. Iniesta 3. Laudrup
Forwards : 1.Messi 2. Ronaldo 3. Ronaldinho

Some great players there. I always find attack is very difficult as I loved Rivaldo but a front 3 of Messi, Dinho and Eto'o is pretty much perfection!!

GK: Zubi, Valdes and Bonano (lol)
DF: Puyol, Sergi and Koeman (had to leave out Nadal!)
MF: Luis Enrique, Xavi and Iniesta (so many greats in MF though)
FW: Messi, Rivaldo and Romario (as not to copy Malappappers choices!!)

MF: Xavi, Ronaldinho, Nedved
FW: Messi, Kezman, Van Nistelrooij

I have only used players I have actually seen playing a lot. I could've chosen Koeman for instance, but I have seen only that much of him, with most of it being highlights of his career after he stopped playing. And fuck me, Kezman was an absolute beast at PSV(my domestic favorite club), scoring 129 goals in 173 matches in just 4 years. Childhood hero.

This is challenging as I don't know whether to base the list on who did best in Barca, or who I consider the best during their career. I'll go with the latter this time.

DF: Puyol, Koeman, Pique/Alves
MF: Maradona, Iniesta, Ronaldinho
FW: Messi, Cruyff, Ronaldo

Maradona, Cruyff, Messi, Ronaldinho.. you can call them attackers or midfielders, so I just put them like that.
