He's 2nd in La Liga & was kinda robbed against Inter? Don't think it's that bad & also under insane pressure because of the finances & the need to do well (even moreso than usual)

So not qualifying for cl second time in a row is "not bad"???
This despite spending over 150 million on transfers.
Club Brugge qualified for cl ko stage. How much did they spend?

People still talking about being second in la liga ..

This is the weakest La Liga since ages, the French league have more level than this shit ...

Only ONE Spanish team has gone through the group stages ... (vs 4 British / 3 Italians / 3 Germans / 3 Portugueses)

If it was not for RM wins, we would have lost a place in Europe already !

So being second in a shit show league is not an accomplishment.

2018 FCB would have stumped this version of LL.

Xavi Simons dissing Barca for their lack of physical training and work in the gym as a club.

Is that the reason why posters are complaining about physically weak players??

Was not really a diss. Unless you read the quote out of context. Just said it is less gym and more on ball practice.

He also spent a lot of money on players he uses in positions they're not exactly used to or great in. He's also the one who pushed for the signing of Alonso and Azpilicueta when we could have had Mazraoui.

Unfortunately Xavi so far seem to be in the same bracket of former legends that he played against in his generation. Just an incredibly stubborn or clueless tactician too it seems.

I'm just tired of watching opponents score the simplest of goals against us, just for us to go up the other end and have no idea how to create chances.

Look at Bayern's first two goals. Simple utilization of speed and space. We have midfielders who can pass, we have a lightning quick winger. Why the fuck aren't we doing this? Dembele wants it at his feet? How about you tell him to shut up and maybe he'll learn a thing or two.

Top teams don't leave spaces like that in defense, they don't play 2-man high lines with Marcos Alonso and Bellerin, and they don't throw 8 players forward every attack like we do. They are more complex to break down than that.

JoanFontes -

After the Inter game, part of the Barca board wanted to hold an emergency meeting on October 25, with the intention being to sack Xavi if he did not gain 6 points against Villarreal and Bilbao.
