Is Pep outdated now?Just occurred to me the best manager in the world currently (now that Pep has lost the plot finally) is "retired"![]()
Jurgen's a bit better than both.Is Pep outdated now?
Slot and Flick are the best managers currently.
Not counting Klopp coz he's out of the game.Jurgen's a bit better than both.
Flick, Inzaghi the next. Slot was in that bracket but needs to prove more in CL IMO. Getting thoroughly outplayed by PSG (irrespective of result) is not a good look for CL KOs.
Pep is not outdated but he seems frustrated and out of gas. Needs a break.
Hard disagree.Marcelo is such an overrated bum.
Yes, great technique, knew how to handle the ball and create.
But, for a LB, he was horrendous in all other aspects such as defending, runs, etc.
For me Cole was >>>
Hubris also to put him in the same sentence as Roberto Carlos
Not in general we are talking about Trent's case here
He has serious limitations as a defensive fullback and needs a PR machine to hype his long passes, crosses and assists so over time he gets received better than he is by football mainstream
Madrid is the ideal place
Really glad that he signed for Madrid.
He is destroyed by every winger in the world.
Doku destroyed him last time with 11 dribbles against him.
If we get good LW with Rapinha and Balde on left side we will torture Madrid.
Could be an option but he’s pretty underwhelming at CM. I think Carvajal being 33 and coming back from an ACL is going to find his role reduced more likely scenario.Reckon he might play at CM with Carvajal back? Could be like Alaba case that he didn't want to play fullback at his old club anymore.
