@Horatio Couldn't find the player's thread and didn't know where else to post this.

Former Real Madrid and Everton winger Royston Drenthe is in hospital after suffering a stroke.

The 38-year-old ex-Netherlands international was admitted to hospital on Friday.

The news was announced by FC de Rebellen, an agency which represents former footballers including Drenthe.

Get well soon, legend.

Hello @Messi983

Yes. The news reached us yesterday. Me and my friends were saddened to hear about it.
He has a great and kind personality whenever he appears on football panels television. A bit of a cult hero here. Funny lad.

The family has come out and said he is doing really well in his recovery.

Last time they met Juve was in CL was in 2018, when that dubious penalty got them through to 3-peat.

No Bremer for Juve. Even though Juve always did well against Real, this time I dont think they gonna get a draw even.

@FinBarcelonafan (as you reacted to my post) and @Messi983

I stopped drinking coke zero months ago (though I do still like pepsi max here and there, which doesn't seem as bad). I heard an anecdote of two guys in their 30s having strokes after drinking pints of coke zero most days.

There really is a lot of stuff in food and drink that is a danger to our health. All this processed and sugary junk food is why there is so much obesity, heart attacks etc now. Not saying anything new, just saying.

Juve beat Real 9 times. Always been a great rival.

But that matters next to nothing today. Gonna be a matchup of Guler and Yildiz probably.

I've always said Mbappe streak ends on Sunday but completely forgot about this game. He wont score against Juve. Needs to score to catch up to Haaland streak.

Fede as utility on RB and Mastantuono probably on bench. Carvajal suspended and Hujisen a doubt, no Alaba.

Lets see if Tudor persists with 3-4-2-1. Yildiz will have to continue his hot streak because I dont think Vlahović is good enough. Or Johathan David for that matter.

I wonder if they will go all out against Barca, after all its their ground.

Win takes them to a pretty decent lead, though, nowhere near decisive.

Defence leaves lot to be desired imo. Think Mbappe will be shut down. I dont think Carreras has it in him in a game of this magnitude.

But the pressure is on them after Barca won last 5 games against them. If Barca gets the W the all time win record is in serious jeopardy.
