 Last Barca manager that survived a full trophyless season?

What are you taking about?

Try and at least make a relevant point.

You miss the part win AND play well.

Conte wont be considered.

You still think Xavi should survive a 'trophyless season'?

You asked about my choice, not to guess what Barca might do.

The chances a new manager comes and wins titles in style are almost zero. Gonna need a lot of time and money, and he is not gonna get any of the two.

Saying 'last Barca coach to survive a trophyless season' when arguing couple days ago Xavi should.

Could survive one, but he is a huge club legend and already won titles at the club, including a big one.

Couldn't survive two though, not even Xavi.

One thing is for sure, the guy is gonna be under a huge pressure since his first season. Sooner or later, Xavi is gonna leave. Probably has this season and the next, and that's it, the usual 3 seasons span for a good manager.

Yes there is pressure in the Barca job.

Realistically it would be Marquez. The only manager who’s around the club who was about in some capacity during Laporta’s first reign.

Xabi Alonso is the real deal though and the Madrid connection makes it impossible, but he’s been unreal for Leverkusen and has equaled Guardiolas record in the Bundesliga for a season start.

Arnie Slot another option. Done very well with AZ & Feyenoord.

You trade managers with Barca.

Unai is a Spaniard and Xavi can speak English.

Deal.

I advise patience and trusting a title winning manager if the team is not that strong. All this is rather silly. The club can't bring in the best managers in the game.

Just stop being a fickle bunch and get behind the club. The golden days are behind us and the club has to suffer. Any logical person should have been prepared to do that by now.

The fuck did you expect? Sunshine and rainbows on a budget?

Team is more than strong enough to be doing a lot better than have been this season.

Again with this 'true fans' nonsense from the one who slags the players more than anyone else.

Usual.

A 'budget' of 250m odd on front line alone...
