Leroy Sane

All signs are pointing to Sane signing for Bayern, Bayern's latest denial made it more so (because they don't want to get into trouble and complicate things with City). In my opinion Sane is a bit overrated and is nowhere worth 137m which is rumored to be the price tag City put on him.

By all means City, milk as much money as possible from Bayern, they are loaded.

I think he's an exceptional talent and has all the tools to be an elite player nevertheless he has a lot of attitude issues it seems. This is a guy who tattoo himself from a game that saw his side get KO'ed his lack of work rate is the reason he hasn't been getting into City squad he'll be like James and Ozil type lot of talent but a luxury player who can hardly put in a shift, no way would City let him go if they believed in him but he hasn't changed in 3 years there.

Kinda the polar opposite to Sterling. It's interesting really. 3 years ago people considered Sterling just another overrated English youngster (me included) and rightly so, that guy was the definition of overrated. And were excited for City for finally getting a proper world class winger in Sane. Fast forward to now, Sterling has really truly flourished under Pep, is practically indispensable and has become one of the best wingers in the world, and probably the only English player bar Kane, who actually deserves to be called world class on the pitch too, not just by the media. Meanwhile Sane, struggling with consistency and even getting into the team last term, is leaving back to Germany through the back door.

Bayern are willing to pay 100M+ & 15M in wages, not something you pay for a struggling player.

And Sane is leaving City, not the other way around.

So, I guess its more about his personal choice, City are trying hard to change his mind.

I an assure you losing Sane would be a bug blow to City. They don't win the EPL without him.

Whether and how fast he could adapt to Bayern, and meet what they think they would want from him, is a much bigger uncertainty.

City loses Sane, I think it makes Liverpool the favorite in EPL and Liverpool/Barca favorites in the Europe. City would still be top 3 in Europe and could still hold off Liverpool in league, but Sane can give them an extra undefensable edge.

Sane is not in their starting 11.

Sane is not in their starting 11.

But he still was the difference maker in the Liverpool match that decided the league.

I personally believe City also lost to Spurs in the CL in no small part to Pep not using him more.

The reason he doesn't start isn't talent or impact, it has to do with Pep's games/motivation buttons he tried to play.

Sané would have been the perfect fit for Barça.
Cheaper and younger than Neymar and a similar style.
Perfect fit but we went for Griezmann instead who is absolutely useless at Barça.

Wonderful player, It will be a huge signing for Bayern if it goes through, If they had a better coach I think they could be a threat for the Champions League again.
