The pitch not being perfect is a shit excuse. Rayo had some good passing moves that were cutting trough our defense. guess they were playing on another pitch. Also, what does pitch condition have to do with us not being able to create chances or missing some sitters?
Rayo didn't even park the bus, they outplayed us all game fair and square.

Alright people return to your regular schedule program a point away to rayo is always a win, we played like shit, the entire team bar Garcia needs to do better, flick needs to do better (I doubt that's gonna happen),, Rayo executed at home as always, we move.

If it continues over the next two games then we have a problem

Flick is right, the CBs werent an issue, which is why I don't understand why the complaints.

If you want to complain about balde & kounde fair game, but Garcia & Christensen did fine.

Nah. Flick said Eric and Chrissy did fine. Entire midfield and attack did not do well. His words.

He said midfield and forward made too many mistakes which I agree with from Olmo on but Frenkie and Pedri were the best two outfield players.

Was specifically asked about the CBs and swtiched it to pass focus further forward but doubt very much that was aimed at FDJ as he was the best player quite clearly.

Garcia gave away the ball badly a lot and the defensive shape was a bit of a mess.

But they were also scrambling a lot to cover the full backs and Garcia was clearly asked to play out the way he was so not all on him.

Rayo average 51 % possession and 330 passes per game with 80 % accuracy.
Barca average 69 % possession and 560 passes per game with 88 % accuracy.

Guess who suffers more from a shit pitch when every single pass is slower and behaves differently than in daily training and in 50 % home games.

I don't think we really need to discuss how Barca's game notoriously suffers from shit pitches. It's axiomatic.

I also don't see big problem with the draw, but I do with Rayo having, like, 5 100% chances.
Exactly, draw is fine. Being dominated, outran and played off the park absolutely isn’t. I can’t remember the last time I saw us play this bad. We were just terrible. The Rayo away excuse doesn’t sit well with me either. They used to be our punching bag until a couple of seasons ago and therefore not historically some team that we always have trouble against. I remember even RM beating them with double digits.

Problem with this wild Hansi's Barca is that it is very hard to have routine victories, it is always crazy spectacle and it is difficult mentally to play like this many seasons and in many games. Last year i was pessimist before the season finale and I was mostly wrong (we had a very good season) but I feel the same again.

We hammered a lot of teams last season comfortably.

The spectacles came mostly from games we were poor and managed to clinch the victory on the grasp of defeat. It's a testament to good coaching by Flick rather than a negative.

The squad needed reinforcements in defence this year and they didn't sign anyone + we lost out best CB.

Fair to be pessimistic though. The entire summer was a circus and the squad is worse defensively this year.

Would like to see Yamal at 10 sometimes.

He was too isolated out wide and that pitch was making it difficult to get ball to him and for his dribbling.

The central players were getting on it more.

The flip side is he would press less in there but Olmo and Fermin were getting it in some good positions but doing nothing with it.

In games like this it feels like need to get best players as close together as can to try and get some control back.

If Barca cannot play on bad pitches, then maybe Barca aren't as good as they think they are.

George Best had no problem on far worse pitches in the 60s. Modern players are so spoiled and entitled.

Shot missed completely.

Didn't see many quotes about the pitch from the players. Flick didn't complain about it.

It was evident for everyone too see though and it is unbecoming of a League pretending to be top
