As we already told you in SPORT, Estanis Pedrola has become the property of Sampdoria after fulfilling the clause that Barça included in his contract with the Italian team. At the tenth game played, the academy graduate becomes the property of the Genoa club, after paying three million euros to the Barça club.

He has started well, was on the bench today though.

It's a good deal for us, we still have a buyback for 7m or so which is peanuts compared to Nico and Abde. I'd love for him to have a year of top tier football before potentially coming back though. Another year in Serie B does no one any good, and Sampdoria won't be anywhere close to promoting bar a miracle turn around.

Have watched alot of them because of Estanis, and Pirlo looks like the Xavi of Italy without the quality to bail him out.
