The away goals rule would favor defensive opponents. We would have a harder time because we rarely keep a clean sheet. It led to teams playing more cautiously in knockout matches. I'm glad it's no longer in place.

I think it was one of the best decisions ever. Just remember when we lost 4:0 at PSG , lead 3:0 in the return leg and because Paris managed to score one with luck, we suddenly needed another 3 goals. This system often produced games where a team scored lucky and then parked the bus, because they knew opponent must score at least twice now. I hated these games.
