Totti may be the best player there, but i dont see him as forward... In the last lets say 5 years he may have been one, but naturally, he is playmaker, and nothing more. But even if he is best i wont vote for him because i hate his guts

Totti played as many seasons as a striker in the decade after conversion as Ibra has had in Serie A anyway, so its fair to include him also I feel. Even if I don't see him as nearly the best. Like Adriano had so much talent, Recoba also, but just not great, truly great players - not that Totti wasted like they did, but raw talent none the less.

Well if you take his word for it he had the chance to join Milan and Real Madrid, so he could have moved to further his career as a player, but then none of those clubs offered the salary and pampering that he has at Roma. I also think Roma have had a very good squad for all of this last decade, and should have been able to do more with it than they did, especially after calciopoli. The fact that they didn't I feel is in no small part due to the emperor status Totti has, which is why I don't see him as a great.

Hmmm. theyve a good squad, no doubt about that. But not on the level that Juve, Inter and Milan have had. No way. Did he actually consider leaving Roma? i always thought he was just extremly loyal?

Put him in the national side and he excelled aswell, He was in the team of the tournament for the World Cup triumph, no?
