My pick is: Ronaldinho/Crespo/Milan

99% of people I ask say Kakas pass is better, no chance. Ronnies pass there is one of the best ever seen.

great topic because I love assists and that kaka's is a really good choice
I always remember it when I think about the best pass ever, considering also the kind of match it was.
And Chris is right to put in evidence also Crespo's finish....it was absolute class

FOr what is my personal football experience, I know better italian football....so I suggest the following

Mancini at min. 1:00 .....it was the 1st leg semifinal Cup Winner's Cup in 1995 Sampdoria vs Arsenal

Del Piero for Marchisio in Jan. 2009 vs. Fiorentina

Platini for Boniek in semifinal Champions 85 ....min. 0:44 sec.

Pirlo for Marchisio if we include also the quality of the finish

and of course Maradona !!

there's plenty from Xavi and Ronaldinho, but you know better than me

Ronnies assist is much better. I'll explain why in a bit.

Ronaldinho's pass, surprised this can even be a discussion. Ronnie first has to shake off Gattuso and then find a gap when 7 Milan defender are waiting behind the ball at home while Liverpool are caught on the break because they are pushing up with 2 goals down. I'm sure Özil played gazillion passes like that under Mourinho on the break. Overall the Milan goal is more beautiful but what Ronnie did required so much more skill and vision.

sorry...I wrote that above because I didn't realize that it was a kind of poll between two

I'd choose Milan-Kakà-Crespo......even if I well remember that crazy ball from Ronaldinho, whom I rate the best EVER in doing millimetric passes

I've always wondered, what does best even mean? Does it mean visually appealing (subjective), difficulty of execution (kind of subjective: Aguero says he can't do more than 2 stepovers before he falls over, I can do 15 punch drunk while sipping a scotch) or improvement in scoring position (i.e jump in probability of scoring - objectively speaking, there is no difference between Messi picking the ball up 40 yards from goal, slaloming past 3-4 defenders, chipping the keeper and Ronaldo aimbotting it into the top corner from 40 yards)? Or a subjective combination of all three?

I find Kaka's pass more appealing and harder to execute (chip passes always come easy to me, placing an inch perfect low through pass over 65 m is so difficult). Also, Ozil has never made such a good pass in his Madrid career while Pirlo makes Ronaldinho's pass a few times (one touch) every season. Doesn't really prove much except that this sort of thing is always subjective and can never be under the category of 'Can this even be a discussion?'

You're not even a real journalism
Pirlo's reverse pass in the 2006 game vs Germany was beautiful. Has hundreds of others

I like the Kaka pass & Crespo finish moreso than Ronaldinho because it was bam, smash, done, over. Finished. Thanks for coming. Very easy on the eye & just lethal.

Ronaldinho's was awesome, but as far as on the eye, alot of faffing about and not as graceful.

Basically i think the Crespo goal was more elegant.
