This is what good scouting gets you. We went for Tablou or whatever his name was and Bayern spent good money for Davis.

It's funny. Our scouts were around the MLS at the same time and picked up fellow left footed Canadian prospect Ballou Tabla from Montreal Impact. It didn't work out while Alphonso is having a killer first season in Bayern right now.

The way it goes.

That's exactly what is missing at our club. There is this stupid belief that top players can only cost an arm and a leg. They don't have to if you are smart and have a working platform. And you know what to do with them.

Bayern are heavy favorites to win what's left of this CL.

The funny part is I think we may have something with Emerson but it depends if we don't do something really stupid as in trying to buy him and sell him and Semedo in order to fund another big-money transfer while replacing those two with fucking De Sciglio.

Nothing more nightmare fuel than that scenario. Sure Martinez works out which is awesome news, but we end up stuck with an even weaker pair in Roberto/De Sciglio at the RB spot. It wouldn't even be a contest as Roberto can sleepwalk as he won't have much of a challenge for it.

He was probably the most talented player to come out of North America and completely took Canada with storm. Bayern after quickly and great job transforming him into a LB, in my eyes clearly the best right now. He is so consistent.
