Ferran Torres and Cavani please. And with Fati back we can once again have something to look forward to in attack. Because Dembele, Depay, and that Abde kid, man they are hard to look at.

Also, I want us to sign a talented African player from Ligue 1 with great physical qualities for not a lot of money, but not a cheapo signing either. Last time we did that we hit it pretty well with Yaya Toure.

Raiola said they have made plans about Haaland's next move for a while now and know what they're going to do.

Which to me sounds a lot like it could be Real Madrid.

More like 25%. And there's this small problem that Haaland wouldn't want to join us.

No one's paying more than 120-150 M for Haaland in the post COVID market.

Just because he wouldn't want to join us doesn't mean we should blow the money away on average talents who are going to be Depay tier and do fuck all for our fortunes.

Save every cent. Only spend it on real deals.

You won't be able to attract any superstar if you save every cent, because the team would not improve to the required level. Until you can be in a position to attract elite players, you have to build the team with players like Ferran Torres.

60m for Ferran Torres is too much though.

40m including variables for a player that want to leave sounds fair, but City don't need to sell him. They can keep him as a rotation option on the bench if they don't get the money they want as they did with Bernardo Silva whom Atletico wanted to sign, but City stuck to their 70m demand.

PSG/City can easily pay 200mio if they want to....

It is, IMO he's a 30-40m, but that's inflation. It's the name of the game. You will overpay for every single known name.

Torres will offer 0 improvement to the existing players is my whole argument.

I'm not against spending 45 m on a proven difference maker who's just on the cusp of world class or whatever. You have a hard time being objective when Xavi or anything Pep is involved, unfortunately.
