7 - Ferran Torres

No we literally had problems

❗| Although Bar?a says 'yes' to Alves, they may not be able to sign him due to the salary cap. La Liga calculates salary based on the last 6 years, so even if Bar?a payed him ?1, La Liga would "not believe it." And assign a higher salary. [@fansjavimiguel]

Several of these stories were reported on

That sounds like pure bullshit. He was registered with 155k which is the minimum wage allowed for a La Liga player. La Liga doesn't negotiate contracts in the name of clubs. If we reach an agreement with Haaland for 155k a year, they will have to register him.

They could moan in the press all they want, they wouldn't dare not registering him and possibly face a case on court.

The departure of Coutinho is the key to being able to make signings in the January transfer market. As it stands, it is impossible to register new players to the salary bill.

? @FCBRAC1

NO ONE FUCKING WANTS HIM LAPORTA FUCK EVERY TRANSFER WINDOW U SPREAD BULLSHIT

We are still well over the wage limit of the new salary cap for LaLiga due to us piling all our losses into this season. It should be obvious that signings like Torres or Sterling are not possible except for an transfer market miracle where all of our deadwood leave and these players agree to quarter their wages. Rafa Yuste has already said transfers are probably not possible, and furthermore, we are still negotiating the renewals of Araujo/Gavi/Dembele , with the first two likely demanding a big increase.

The only way we get him in any case is a player swap.

In Laporta's dreamland

Laliga caves in and allows Messi to be registered

City swap Cancelo or Laporte for Roberto

Griezmann is sold for 80m to Juventus

Haaland is signed

Dembele is swapped for Torres

Coutinho is sold 400k a week wages and all for a 30 year old finished player

Koeman will resign on his own accord if you talk shit about him in the media

Messi will offer to play for free

Have I missed anything?

And this is the part we hear

Oh shit wtf club didn't like our Dembele or Coutinho offer

Wtf wtf

The agreement between Barcelona and Manchester City is still missing. Perhaps players can enter the operation. Pep likes Nico Gonz?lez a lot, for example. [@MatteMoretto]

Of course they want our gems but this isn't commodities trading, they are human beings - they have to want to go and none of our cantera kids will want to go, even for Pep. Eric Garcia already demonstrated that

Eric Garcia imho did not demonstrate that. At City he was 6th in line - Dias, Stones, La Porte, Ake, Fernandinho then Garcia.

Even so, they could make a deal for the summer, when the salary cap would not be an issue probably.

You're living in dreamland Serghei

Literally any club would say,

Torres is our player he isn't on the market and he's important to us, if you want to buy him in January ( harder to sign players) it will be minion 50m up front or wait until the summer to buy him.

Let alone we don't need money, city

OK, then they end up with Torres and we move on. What's the problem?

It's not like Ferran Torres is the key to our future and without him we're screwed .

The problem is people like you believing Laporta's bullshit

When it's clear as day what he says isn't based in reality we CANNOT make a 50m signing

I don't believe anything. Except that there are probably talks about Ferran and he probably would like to come back to Spain. That's it.

A 50m signing doesn’t require you to have 50m in the bank. It requires you to have 50/(number of years on his contract) + salary.
