Organizing the defense is nice but you need to actually defend well.

Lol....anyone can slip. The grass is usually well watered before a match and the cleats are plastic/fibre these days. Cant hold anybody for that.

The first medical checks for Íñigo Martínez ruled out a serious injury and said it was just a minor muscle strain. If nothing else goes wrong, Íñigo should be available for Sunday’s Clásico. He’s expected to rejoin the group on Friday and finish the session without any major issues.@fansjavimiguel


Very important to have him in the clasico. I don't trust Araujo this season in such games sadly.

There are two types of weak-minded players:

Those whose performances drop on big occasions: MAtS, Araujo
Those who let their emotions get the better of them (during/post-match): Raphinha, Iñigo

I don't mind some aggression or gamesmanship as long as rules are not broken. But antics like spitting is shameful and lowest of low act and should have no place on a football pitch. I dont want any Barca player ever partake in such heinous acts.

Iñigo is the best pure defender Barca has currently. But his behaviour always screams "madridista" to me. Pau deserves a better mentor and leader beside him. Someone like a Puyol, passionate, defensively dominant, emotionally stable and level-headed.

Some cardinal mistakes from him lately in biggest of matches. He is good and surprised us all but he is not a key player and not irreplacable.
