What are the chances of some club triggering the €65M release clause in the first 10 days of the transfer window?

I wish we are at least saving money to go for a LCB next year.
Cant imagine Araujo and Cubarsi pair in 2026.

Barcelona have data proving that Ronald Araujo is the fastest centre back in the world in long distances.

They do not want to lose him.

Prior to his injuries, I might have believed that.

But this data is probably as real as the one you and Fati make up for Bumnaldo

Here we go again... can't pass, doesn't know how to position himself, can't mark opponents even if they are 37 year old defenders, predisposed to blunders and rash tackles leading to disasters. Next season it is gonna be differrent.

I am not optimistic, but next season will be it for him.

He either has to improve massively or else he's the next one getting replaced. Issue is that we'll probably need two CBs in 2026 if Araujo also leaves as Inigo is old. Unless one of the academy guys step up.

It's why I'm hoping we keep a close eye on Konate if he's available on free transfer.

We will need a CB or two regardless of Araujo situation tbh, even if Christensen renews.
Inigo is 34, he is slow CB who is mistake prone at the top level and ended the season worse than Araujo himself.
There aren't many 3rd CB options that are better than Araujo, he can stay but sooner or later we need one elite starter. Sometimes you have to live with your Cلآ mistakes, it is what it is.

But I am not really optimistic about it, Barca history of splashing any real money on a CB is almost non existent. Lenglet is still a record signing with 36M, Umtiti second at 25M, Patrick Anderson and Christanval are still in the top ten.
